Sleep: Nature's Fountain of Youth

Sleep is a necessary requirement
in maintaining proper health. Without adequate sleep our bodies and minds do not function to the
best of their ability. Some people may be able to function on less sleep than others but the fact
remains that we all need a certain amount of sleep on a regular basis in order to maintain optimum
health.
Lack of sleep does not only affect our physical health, but our mental and emotional health
as well. The mind does not function as clearly when sleep is lacking. Short-term memory suffers
dramatically from inadequate rest. Our emotional state becomes indifferent as well. When a person
does not get adequate sleep, the most patient and relaxed type of person can exhibit symptoms such
as impatience and irritability.
As you can see, adequate sleep is necessary for total wellness.
Although maintaining health is the! main reason for getting enough sleep it is not the only one.
Adequate sleep also is good for the appearance. With the right amount of rest the skin looks healthier
and more youthful. Sleep really does make a significant difference right down to the clearness and
sparkle in the eyes.
When I get proper sleep and when I am lacking sleep I can see a major change
in my appearance. Believe it or not you actually look younger when you are getting proper rest.
When getting a proper amount of sleep, the memory improves, the energy increases and skin looks
smoother and younger.
Don't take my word for it; if you have been skimping on sleep, try getting
more rest and see the difference for yourself. Mother Nature has provided us with her own fountain
of youth. It's a beauty secret called sleep. It's free, easy and available to all.
